After the devastating earthquake in Wenchuan on12th May,2008, crust inearthquake zone is fractured, massif in ground is broken and geologicalenvironment becomes very fragile. Also, potential landslide poses considerablethreat for the new sites’ people’ lives and property. So the monitoring and control oflandslide in Phoenix Mountain becomes particularly important since it is the largelevel in hit area of Leigu Town, Beichuan County, Mianyang. To forecast well oflandslide can help a lot to take necessary precautions timely, which requestsaccurate and effective monitoring in relative displacement of landslide. However, those measurements more or less have shortcomings in accuracy, price andinstallation. In order to find a fast, economical and accurate method to monitor landslides, the thesis, based on geology and geodesy, combined with the control survey andclose-range photogrammetry technology, has finished following work:(1) collecting the image data in landslide monitoring area by parallelphotography, With non-metric digital camera (Canon EOS550D).(2) Obtaining the DEM data of the landslide monitoring area, by use ofVirtuoZo to orientate, define the workplace, generate the nuclear baseline, resample, match the image of pretreatment images after distortion correction, and so on.(3) Overlaying calculation of the three DEM data by Arcsence, to analyze thelandslide displacement results in the two cycles and the adjacent cycle’s changes. Compared with the given data, this method is proved to be effective. So we provide afast and effective method to monitor the change of landslides.
