According to the relevant collected data and the survey information about the geothermalresources in Longfeng District, Daqing, this article studied on the distribution characteristicsof the geothermal resources and evaluated the resource amount in the area. Based on GlobalEvaluation Standard in China, we also evaluated the quality of the geothermal fluid. Theresults of the study would be use as a strong evidence for the future geothermy development.To better understand the distribution of geothermal resources in the area, two explorationwells, Longre1#and Longre2#were extracted. Based on the formation distributioncharacteristics of the two wells, it was found that the geothermal was concentrated inNenjiang Group, Yaojia Group and Qingshankou Group, belonged to cretaceous. The averageburied depth of Nenjiang Group was up to663.5-1472m, and the water temperature in thegroup reached40-51℃. Then the buried depth of Yaojia Group was to1472-1567m, and thewater temperature was51-56℃. At the same time the buried depth of Qingshankou Groupwas to1567-1900m, and the water temperature was to56-64℃. The regional tectonical andhydrogeological conditions provided the stable heat source and storage sites for thegeothermal resources.Geothermal reserve method, storage method and analytical model algorithm were used tocalculate values of geothermal resource. The results of geothermal reserve method showedthat the natural reserve is353.59×1016J, and the recoverable reserve is52.89×1016J, theequivalent of1804.64×104t standard coal heat. And the results of storage method showed thatthe geothernal reserve is3597.36×106m3, the equivalent of2800.01×104t standard coal heat.According to the analytical model algorithm results, the reserve is0.64×1016J for mining100 years.According to the water quality evaluation results showed that the geothermal fluid in thearea was suitable for medical mineral water development, and it was not suitable fordringking water and mineral water. The regional geothermal water can not be directly used asirrigation water because of its heavy salinity. Based on the evaluation of fishery waterstandard, untreated geothermal water can not be suitable for direct geothermal aquiculture.And according to the corrosion and scaling evaluation requirements, the geothermal water inthe area can be used for geothermal heating after scaling prevention and corrosion preventiontreatment.The storage capacity of the geothermal is large in Longfeng District, but its supplyamount is small. So the exploring plan must be developed to prolong life of geothermal fields.Exploitation and utilization of geothermal energy could have a significant impact on theenvironment. We recommend single-well production is less than5m3/h.
