This article researchs the formation mechanism and distribution law points of debrisflow dam and frozen lake mudslides at the section of rawu to Pui Lung of theSichuan-Tibet Highway south line, it reveals the distribution characteristics of theglacier and glacial lakes. This paper briefly describes the extent of glacial lake outburstdebris flow hazards.Through the introduction of the basic overview of the backgroundof the geological environment of the study area and regional, as well as domestic andforeign debris flow dam of glacial lake outburst research, This paper puts forward theemphasis and the implications of the research. On glacial lake outburst, debris flowdevelopment environment of glacial lake outburst, activity characteristics, distributionlaw, geological and geomorphological conditions, hydrology and climate caused by thefactors introduced, the paper shows the natural conditions of the study area.We find out that there are131frozen lakes of various sizes distributed on both sidesof road from Ranwu to Peilong,of which67debrisflow gully with differentstyle and sizewhich have ice distribution,7frozen lakes which have a potentialdanger of breaking.Through the analysis of the affecting factors of debris flow, we make a calculation ofclassification of67debris flow gully from Ranwu toPeilong. We obtain the discriminantformula of the scale of debris flow by the defines of the division of debris flow,andmake a calculation of scale classificationof67debris flow gully from Ranwu toPeilong.Through the brief introductionofa few typical debris flow gully from Ranwu toPeilong,we analysis the formationmechanisms and evolution processes of debris flowgully dam contribution andobtain the determinant conditions of debris flow gully damcontribution jam andbuild a series of discriminant conditions of the critical offormation of debris flowand the maximum velocity of the surface of debris flow and thepeak flow of frozen lake debris flow gully and the ratio of the maximum volume ofdebrisflowand the maximum sediment transporting capacity of debris flow and the totalsediment of debris flow and the debris flow gully dam jams of thefloodpeakflow.Finally we discuss the5evolution processes of GLOF,the formulation ofdebris flow with GLOF, the formulation of debris flow dam,the outburst of debris flowdam,burst floods.Finally, the paper probes into comprehensive prevention and control of debris flowdam outburst of glacial lakes combining the characteristics of debris flow rawu totraining Long section of glacial lake outburst, formed a pre-series control techniques and the late series of emergency prevention and control technology; combination ofrelying on engineering practice, proposed a glacial lakethe debris flow dam outburstprevention and control of the main principles, and specifically describes severalcomprehensive prevention and control measures.
