Chang6reservoir of Yanchang Group is one of the main development layers in Gaojiagou-Qingyangcha area, the exploitation of which is significant for the production increasing of target area. At present, there isn’t any macroscopic overall understanding and meticulous research in the area.This paper use of sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, petroleum geology and other related disciplines theories and research methods, carried out a detailed stratigraphic division and correlation on the Gaojiagou-Qingyangcha area Chang6oil reservoir based on logging data, core and dynamic data, system to study the target layer of sedimentary facies and sand body distribution law, porous microstructure, characteristics of reservoir properties, oil and gas accumulation and so on, filted out the favorable oil and gas zone.After this paper studying, Gaojiagou-Qingyangcha area Chang6oil layer belongs to the delta plain facies, mainly developed distributary channel and diversion bay, followed by the natural levee, undeveloped splay; the main reservoir types of Chang6is Construct-lithology reservoir, sand body of the plane distribution of direction is basically consistency with sedimentary microfacies, sand body generally distribution for the mesh, distributary channel deposits constitute the skeleton of the main body of the sand body, provided a favorable place for the oil and gas accumulation; Chang6reservoir sandstones rock types is are mainly arkose, lithic arkose. with a small amount of laumontite, interstitial material are mainly laumontite, followed by chlorite and development of a small amount of iron calcite; the roundness level of sandstone are subangular, with a good separation and high textural maturity, the type of pore is mainly intergranular pores, followed by dissolution pores, undevelopment micro-cracks; the control factors of hydrocarbon enrichment of Chang6reservoir are various, physical property is the master control factor; based on the abundant detailed researched mentioned above, this paper provides favorable areas of Chang6reservoir, which consist of three Type I areas, four Type II areas and four Type III areas, the total acreage of all favorable areas is about102.4km2, provide the geological basis for the further exploration of oil fields development.
