Switched systems have become a research focus in recent years because of theirwide range of application background. The traditional models are simply continuousor discrete. Whereas, switched systems take the continuous dynamic and discretedynamic into account simultaneously. Thus, switched systems reflect the essentialcharacteristics of systems perfectly.In process of the actual operation of the systems, besides the existence oftime-delay phenomenon, systems will be affected by uncertain disturbance outside,and will have faults. In this paper, considering these factors comprehensively, andUsing common Lyapunov function method, we research the problem of robustfault-tolerant control for the uncertain nonlinear time-delay switched systems whenthe sensors have faults and when the sensors and actuators have faults at the sametime. Because the practical systems are nonlinear mostly, to research the robustfault-tolerant control of nonlinear systems has more comprehensive and practicalsignificance.In this paper, for the two classes of uncertain nonlinear switched systems withsingle time-delay and multiple time-delays, we research the robust fault-tolerantcontrol problem of the two systems. The main work is as follows:Firstly, the problem of robust fault-tolerant control for a class of singletime-delay uncertain nonlinear switched systems is researched when the sensors havefaults and when the sensors and actuators have faults simultaneously. Based oncommon Lyapunov function method, the sufficient conditions of asymptotic stabilityfor the systems and the design method of state feedback control law are given.Secondly, the single time delay situation of the above system is further extendedto multiple time-delays situation, the corresponding results and the design method ofstate feedback control law are given.
