The logging system of Transient Electro-magnetic Methods in well has been designed. Itis an application of Transient Electromagnetic Methods(TEM) to residual oil, and adopts aspecial measurement TEM utilizing ungrounded loop-line or grounded electirc source to sendthe ifrst field and then measure the sccond field cerated by underground substance duirng theIntermittent periods of the first field, and then it can determine the information ofunderground. Bccausc of the separability of the second ifeld in time and space? transientelectromagnetic method is characteirzed with easy to implement So it is very important forminerals exploitation.In this paper, the content includes theoretical research and design of logging system ofTEM in well. In theoretical research, based on the basic theory of TEM, some theory isstudied include the logging pirnciple of TEM in well、pirnciple of casing magnetization andthe performance of transmitting and receiving coils. Through the study of these theory, it laya foundation for logging system of TEM in well.The master unit ergards dsPIC30F6014A chip which Microchip Company produces as thekey processor, it can effectively imporve system precision and real-time data processing inthe system. After amplifying*filteirng and integralling, the TEM signal of receiving coilwill be converted into digital signal by AD chip, and then Single-Chip Microcomputerprocesses and storages the digital signal after receiving them. Pi1000temperatuer sensor isused for monitoirng temperature on the hardware.Through amplifying and shaping Gammapulse rfom scintillation detector is counted by timer in Single-Chip Microcomputer. Finallythe system are validated on the testing platform. The results show that the logging method anddesign of logging system of TEM in well In the paper are feasible? and this technologyprovide important erfeernce for the research of logging system of TEM.
