Research On Exploitation Classification And Development Planning Of Karst Caves In Chongqing City

China as one of the karst landform most widely distributed in the world, has the complicated karst landform types and abundant unique landscape resources. As the one of karst landforms, karst caves are well developed in the favorable humid tropical climate and the frequent effects of geological activity. Karst cave in karst area is a very unique landscape, which has a unique environment and resources underground different from the surface. It has formed the most widespread and abundant use for the caves in the each historical stage of human, is the best embodiment of organic fusion with the human civilization and the natural environment.Karst cave resources of Chongqing are rich, diverse ways to be developed and utilized, its development and utilization plays an important role in the social and economic development in Chongqing region. This article based on the thorough investigation for karst caves in the Chongqing area, analysis and summarizes the characteristics, value and type of karst cave resources. Based on the present situation in the cave development, explore the development, distribution and characteristics of karst cave in Chongqing, and make a comprehensive classification for the utilization ways from the aspects of life and production. The first class including4species:cultural activities, geological tourism, overall experience and economic utilization; the second class incuding12species:tourism using, life using, religion using, art using, appreciation using, education using, research using, relaxation using, experience using, agricultural using, industrial using, commercial using; the third class including28 species:inhabitation, funeral, drinking water, comprehension, sacrifice, cave rock-drawing, inscription, architecture, learning, education, investigation, monitoring, rehabilitation, health, training, music appreciation, irrigation, edible bacterium cultivation, cave breeding, agricultural storage, biological resources using, mechanical manufacturing, water and electricity exploitation, mine exploitation, storage, chemical manufacture, war manufacture, stalactites sale.Finally, based on the field investigation data, divides karst caves resources development into four categories, according to its combinatorial characteristics, namely the category of cultural activities, geological tourism, overall experience and economic utilization, and analysis and summarizes pointedly the main characteristics, typical caves, development patterns and development planning and design proposal of four categories. In the end, the paper introduces the development models of ruins parks, geological parks and theme parks, in order to explore the maximized sustainable exploitation and utilization of karst caves resources for the human and the nature harmonious symbiosis, and achieve the unity of the economic benefits, social benefits and environmental benefits.
