Multiple energy minerals have some distribution laws and assemblage styles,theaccordant temporal stages for accumulation,conservation,and reformation of mineralreserves.Therefore,these minerals probably have some relation in genesis.Sichuanbasin,one of the largest depositional basin in west of China,is rich in coal,oil,naturalgas,oil sands,shale gas and other resources,and is an important energy base.From thevertical horizon,coal is mainly distributed in LongTan Formation of the LowerPermian and Xujiahe Formation of Upper Triassic;oil and gas is mainly distributed inDengying Formation of Upper Sinian,Huanglong Formation of Middle Carboniferous,Qixia and Maokou Formation of Middle Permian,Feixianguan and JialingjiangFormation of Lower Triassic,Leikoupo Formation of Middle Triassic,XujiaheFormation of Upper Triassic,Shaximiao Formation of Middle Jurassic;Shale gas ismainly distributed in Qiongzhusi group of Lower Cambrian,Wufeng group of UpperOrdovician,Longmaxi group of Lower Silurian,Permian,Upper Triassic;oil sands ismainly distributed in Shaximiao Formation of Middle Jurassic,Pingyipu group ofDevonian.On the plane distribution,controlled by a variety of factors,suchas,Hydrocarbon Center,tectonic,the distribution of sedimrentary facies andpaleoenvironment,oil are mainly distributed in the central Sichuan Basin;natural gas isfull of whole basin and lack in the central sichaun;coal have different degrees ofdistribution in the whole basin;oil sands are mainly distributed in the western Sichuanregion of the edge of the basin. The distribution patterns and accumulation law ofvarious energy resources in Sichuan basin is the result of Combined effects by avariety of geological conditions.The generation,accumulation anddispersion,accumulation and positioning of multiple energy minerals which coexistedwith basin and their spatio-temporal collocation and syngenetic succession etc,overall is affected by combined action sedimentary environment and tectonic evolution.Thedepositional environment is the basic conditions of the production and enrichment ofenergy mineral. Minerals are differentiated because of sedimentary environment andsedimentary facies.The tectonic evolution framework controls the characteristics ofthe basin,the internal sequences of basin-fill and the distribution of coal,oil,gas,shalegas and oil sands.Meanwhile,the tectonic evolution framework contributes to theformation,accumulation and disappearance of these energy mineral.
