With the prospecting target change to deep blind ore, geophysical explorationmethods play an increasingly important role in metal mineral exploration anddifferent geophysical exploration methods have differentapplicable objects andconditions. According to different deposit types, different geological characteristics,different types of minerals, study how to determine the best the ore body geophysicalpositioning method has theoretical and practical significance.In this article, take the lead zinc ore mine in Menghu as example, research anddevelopthe orebody geophysical positioning method technology. The main researchcontent and results include: Firstly, using the exist regional geological data, the rawdata of the mine and the adjacent mine studying regional geological, structuralcharacteristics, understand the regional metallogenic backgroundand deposit typesand characteristics. Secondly, test specimens geophysical nature to draw thecharacteristics and composition of the ore as well as the polarization and resistivity ofthe surrounding rock relationship and clarify the geophysical characteristics.understanding the working principle and characteristics of the various geophysicalmethods in the comprehensive analysis of select the most suitable set of geophysicalmethods in the mine geological and geophysical characteristics. Thirdly, collectingraw data with the appropriate standard. Mining1:2000intermediate gradient sweepsurface, inducing surface anomaly centers in polarization sounding, and thencombining with geological data information inversion and interpretation of thepredicted polarization of the spatial occurrence of the state. Finally, Verifying theGeophysical abnormal from drilling, analytical deviation in order to get theconclusion, which is the applicability of the method to find such deposits in similar geological conditions.The study effect is good and has found two anomalyinduced polarization surfacein mine circle. JD1anomaly which is found by drilling verification has9.1m ofcumulative thickness of the iron formation.Comparing with inversion prediction, theposition error is less than10m; JD2anomalywhich is found bydrillingverificationhaslead-zinc body, the thickness of15.4m.Comparing with inversion prediction, theposition error is less than7m; In a word, this geophysical data processing, inversionand interpretation is success.Showed by the geophysical measurement, as well ascomprehensive analysis and research, comprehensive geophysical method in search ofstructural fissure type and disseminated type metal mineral deposits and the ore bodyspace location and has a good effect.But in the choice of methods, we need to thinkthe geological and geophysical characteristics of the concrete, whichhave largerindicator for the future in exploring the mineral deposits.
