This paper based on the project team preliminary results and XiBeiJu latestdrilling, development achievements, making full use of regional geology, drilling,geophysical exploration, stratigraphic, earthquake information, according to thetheory of plate tectonics, geological activity theory and other advanced theory as theinstruction, with seismic interpretation, fault evolution as the main line, to balanceprofile evolution, the oblique shear recovery technology as the means, the analysis ofwestern TaHe fracture distribution characteristics, the profile features, composition,main fracture evolution pattern, etc., combining previous results about oil and gasexploration to investigate the relationship between the western TaHe fracture and theoil and gas. Mainly achieved the following understanding:(1).Integrated use of the fracture identification methods, this paper identified thewestern TaHe developed compressional fault and basement faults two kinds, mainlydeveloped high angle compressional fault.(2).On the plane, the North East to TuoPu--rangeland North-Aiding Dong No1fracture and NW-trending EdingKeGuo-Langa fracture in an "X" distribution,secondary fracture Aiding Xi No.2(NE) and Aiding Xi No.1(NW) in the westernpart of the backbone fracture also has an "X" distribution, these faults constitute thewestern Tahe fault zone,According to the fracture development situation TuoPu--rangeland North fracture is divided into south and middle, north three parts,EdingKeGuo fracture is divided into south and north two parts; On the profile,TuoPu--rangeland North and EdingKeGuo fracture mainly developed the base-involvedstructural patterns such as single blunt drag anticlines type, dominoes, domino type,imbricated thrust, ramp, back thrust and Y type anticline type. Langa fracture mainlydeveloped cover-detachment structures, back thrust and base-involved patterns normal fault, Aiding Xi No.2mainly developed base-involved patterns normal fault,thesefractures formed the the tectonic style in the western TaHe.(3). Western TaHe fracture activity times mainly divided into four periods: theearly caledonian, middle caledonian, the early hercynian, the late hercynian.(4). This paper points out that TaHe fracture have TuoPu--Rangeland Northfracture and Langa fracture two kinds of evolution model. TuoPu--Rangeland Northfracture with five evolution stages:①Sinian period-Cambrian fracture is not develop;②in the late-middle Ordovician to early Silurian compressional twist thrust faultbegan to develop;③middle Devonian to early Carboniferous, weak extrusioninheritance thrust fault in development;④late Carboniferous to Permian developed inlarge-scale strong compressional inherited fault;⑤Triassic-Holocene resting stage.Langa fracture also has five evolution stages:①Sinian period-Cambrian developmentextensional normal fault;②late-middle Ordovician to the early Silurian thrust faultbegan to develop;③middle Devonian to early Carboniferous, weak extrusioninheritance type thrust faults began to develop;④to the late Carboniferous to Permiandeveloped in large-scale strong compressional inherited fault;⑤In theTriassic-holocene resting stage.(5). This study analysis oil and gas inTaHe oil field water distribution inOrdovician and put forward the following three fracture oil-control features:①fracture control reservoir: the fracture-cave of the study area mainly distributealong-the large-scale fault zones;②fracture control of oil and gas migration: inAiding region oil and gas can be upward migration along the fracture and also bealong the vertical slot hole to migration, in TuoPua area, oil and gas to migration relyon fracture;③fracture control of oil and gas accumulation: through study, latehercynian is the main reservoiring stage in the west of tahe oil field,in middleCaledonian, tahe oil field fracture began to activate and in large-scale and stoppeduntil the late hercynian, fracture activities and the mass of oil and gas migration timeis consistent, so it can effectively control the accumulation of oil and gas.
