In the north of Tarim plate, there is a large area of granite zone. Zhongbao skarn-type oftungsten distributed in the granite belt. Now, in the granite belt has been found some tungstenand tungsten point. But there is still a large unmapping area, and the prospecting potential ofskarn-type tungsten ore is tremendous. Therefore, research for combined methods inZhongbao skarn-type Tungsten’s Exploration is very necessary.I collected and analysed the predecessors’ data, and found that explorating skarn-typetungsten ore is mainly with the methods of applicating geological, geochemical, gravity andIP method, etc. Skarn-type of tungsten ore’s prospecting work is based on geological work.And the geochemical and gravity method to optimize the tungsten’s target are in obviousadvantages. The effect of applicating IP to determine the spatial distribution of tungsten orebodies is good. According to the existing geophysical prospecting equipment. This paperintends to adopt geologic mapping with large scale, the IP method and EH4to research forcombined exploration methods in skarn-type Tungsten.This paper analysed the regional geology background, tectonic evolution, ore depositgeological characteristics, ore deposit genesis and metallogenic model of Zhongbao tungstendeeply. Through field geological survey, I selected research areas in the peripheral ofZhongbao tungsten. In the study area, I grasped the formation, structure, magmatism andmineralization alteration through geologic mapping with1:2000. At the same time, I hadcollecting a lot of skarn-type tungsten ore and surrounding rock specimens, and measured thephysical property for specimens. According to geological mapping and physical propertymeasurements, I arranged EH4and IP work and collected data in the area. I disposed the IPand EH4data, combined with the geological mapping, physical property measurement andprevious drilling data for infer interpretation. I analysed the interpretation results, andacquired the best combine method for Zongbao skarn-type Tungsten’s Exploration.According to the studied results in this paper, that the IP method’s application effect is not very well in skarn-type tungsten’s exploration. The combine method of geologic mappingwith a large scale and EH4that applied in the study area is remarkable. In my opinion thecombine method must be promoted and certified in the exploration of Zhongbao skarn-typetungsten in the future.
