Development Of A System For Application Of The Geological Data Of Gold Ore Deposits In The Xiaoqinling Integrated Exploration Area Of Henan Province

As the increasing of the geological datas, geological photos and profile sections alsoincrease. But these geological datas disperse in different paper documents or electronic files,which is not conducive for users to browse, query, download and use them through network.In order to solve the above problems, this paper takes the Xiaoqinling integrated explorationarea of gold deposits in Henan Province as an example. For providing the convenience andservices to users, the databases of the geological datas which mainly include photos andprofile sections databases about the Xiaoqinling integrated exploration area of gold depositsin Henan Province are developed based on the MS Access2007.The present situation of geological data about the Xiaoqinling integrated explorationarea of gold deposits in Henan Province is ascertained through network downloading andgeological library copying, and1002piece of geological photos and102piece of profilesections as well as the related information are collected by the author,. In the meanwhile,according to users needs, the structures of the databases of the geological photos and profilesections are designed. The information collection programs of geological photos and profilesections are determined, which involve the data item, collecting method and collectingquantity, and so on.Based on the MS Access2007, the databases of the geological photos and profilesections are established. At the same time, the functions of the two databases are developed,including data display, data navigation, data fast location, data modification, and data queryfunctions. The instructions for the use of the databases of the geological photos and profilesections are provided. The development processes of this kind of database are summarized.
