The wave of multi-component seismic exploration is a full-wave field elasticwave excitation and received seismic exploration methods. Multi-componentconverted wave seismic technology has both longitudinal wave exploration depth, anddata acquisition is relatively easy and less investment, but also reflect subsurfacewave velocity changes. The multi-component converted wave seismic characteristicsof the direct identification of lithology exploration and oil and gas as possible. At thesame time, due to the multi-component data acquisition, recording two horizontalcomponent seismic data under the premise, you can take advantage of the fast andslow shear-wave splitting time difference reflects the main direction of thedevelopment of fractures and development density, fracture fractured reservoirexploration and development become possible.Based on the wave equation forward modeling plays an important role in seismicexploration, it is widely used in various stages of exploration of the earthquake. Basedon the wave equation forward modeling technology mainly includes two parts: thecontinuation of the wave field and the wave field imaging. The imaging process is oneof the necessary steps to correctly calculate the subsurface reflection point position.This article focuses on the three most commonly used imaging methods imagingprinciple:exploding reflector interface imaging, lateral line extended imaging wavefield time consistency imaging principle. In this article, the explosion reflectorimaging method is mainly used for post-stack migration imaging processing,longitudinal wave and converted wave prestack migration mainly uses timeconsistency imaging principle. This paper first introduces the multi-wave exploration technology and migrationimaging technology development status,followed by the wave equation migrationtheory-the continuation and imaging. And the multiple migration methodscontinuation operator.Mainly one-way wave equation for the wave equation.Migration have done on the basis of established P-wave velocity model incontinuation and imaging methods that described in this paper, evaluating the results,judgment of geological bodies homing effect and the adaptability migration operator.Then writing on one-way wave prestack forward theory, Describing physicalprocesses and geometric process of propagation of wave field. Making wave equationcontinuation theory more clear, help further understanding of one-way wave theory, intheory, verify the correctness of P-P wave migration test.Finally the establishment ofthe compressional and shear wave velocity model for the elastic wave equation to getX-component records, turning to the special treatment for some of the converted waveexploration (Migration)-wave field separation and polarity problem, analyzing theresults of forward and migration of converted wave, getting some of thecharacteristics of the converted wave section, and to raise some questions and futureresearch directions.
