Location close to the dam slope stability problem has been the focus ofhydro-engineering project construction.The thesis targets on the subject of Song Pingslope of Jin Chuan Hydropower. By means of studying in detail the slope of theenvironment condition, slope structure, deformation and failure characteristics andresults of field monitoring, reasonably on the slope engineering geological zoning. Onthis basis, the analysis of the regional deformation failure mechanism, stability underdifferent working conditions, which provides a theoretical basis for the engineeringdesign of the plant. This paper obtains main achievements and understanding,whichare as follows:(1) Based on the study of the environment conditions of the slope area, andaccording to the slope body structure and the characteristics of deformation andfailure of the Song Ping slope, the slope is divided into two parts: Song Ping landslideand deformation, providing a basis for evaluation of slope stability.(2) Song Ping landslide is an early product of slope rock mass deformation anddestruction. Field investigations and monitoring results indicated that, the landslidemargin deformation signs clearly at the moment, the landslide in central dwellings inthe rainy season, especially under the condition of heavy rain obviously deformationand cracking, the landslide in the stage of creep deformation, the deformation rateclosely related to rainfall and the shallow layer stability of the landslide in poorstability.Because of the landslide is apart from the power station distribution and itselevation is high, the landslide damage in the future won’t appear large-scalehigh-speed fell to Xin Zha gully channel mouth, the impact on the constructionproject is small, the power station water mist has no influence the stability. Butcontinuous rain or heavy rainfall environment may due to instability of landslide,which will threaten a serious threat for the area residents, housing and other importantbuildings pose, for this reason, some suggestions to further research of landslide disaster response decision scheme are put forward.(3) The deformation in the side of Xin Zha gully occurs in counter-inclined thinlayered bending (cracking toppling deformation). The deformation damage isrelatively serious, occurs in eyebrow peak on the ridge of the loose accumulation,which mainly refers to the table of crushed stone soil and shallow local collapsed andbroken rock mass of debris flow to the accumulation of slope toe, the influence ofengineering is limited to the superficial rock mass sliding. In the side of the Da Duriver which is horizontal layered slope, the flat holes survey and the surface survey arenot found larger deformation of rock mass. The slope stability is good in naturalconditions, only in the ditch on both sides of the slope depression, eyebrow peak,steep terrain mutation sites affected by rainfall is easy to produce bedding crackingdamage, collapse, falling, collapse and other small damage, which will theatenvehicles and pedestrians of the S211highway closely to the side of the Da Du river.(4) Based on the landslide, the slope deformation and the stability of thequalitative and quantitative evaluation, the results show that the Song Ping slopeoverall stability is good, not integrity failure.
