Panyu low uplift is an important exploration area of the Pearl River Mouth Basin. Recently, great progress has been made on Oil and Gas Exploration and some gas field has been found. With the guidance of the theory of High Resolution Sequence Stratigraphy, Sedimentary Basin Analysisand ,Seismic Sedimentology, and based on logging datas,3D seismic reflection data, cores and hydrocarbon test, third-order sequence and fourth-order sequences have been divided, High-Resolution Sequence Stratigraphic Framework has been built up, sedimentary facies and sedimentary systems in the system tracts have been identified and favorable zones have been predicted.Zujiang Formation in this area is divided into 4 third-order sequences, which are bonded by unconformities characterized by truncation or onlap contacts and its relevant conformity surfaces. The forth-order cycles are subdivided into 2-5 forth-order sequences in each third-order sequences. And the establishment of high resolution sequence framework provides an important chronostratigraphic correlation for the analysis of distribution of systems tracts.The results show that it can be Identified Braided-river Delta, meandering river delta, littoral-neritic sea and neritic shelf in this area.The research indicates that the lowstand and transgressive systems tracts of the SQzj1 and SQzj2 sequence mainly consist of Braided-river Delta. highstand system tract of SQzj3.the lowstand and highstand systems tracts of the SQzj4 sequence mainly consist of meandering river delta. the transgressive and highstand systems of Zhujiang Formation mainly consist of littoral-neritic sea and neritic shelf.With the guidance of the theory of Seismic Sedimentology, strata slicings of Zhujiang Formation have been made to reflect sedimentary spreads . RMS attributes slice of the highstand systems tracts of the SQzj4 can reflect development of deltaic deposit in the Noeth of the project. It is important to predict sand distribution and exploration target area.The results show that favorable entrapment zones of this area mainly distribute two areas. One is Lithologic Reservoir of SQzj1 and SQzj2 which is controlled by PY35-2 fault zone .The other is Lithologic Reservoir which is controlled by the onlap zones of Sequence Boundary of SQzj4(16.5Ma),SQhj1(15.5Ma),SQhj2(13.8Ma)and SQzj2.
