Laoyemiao area is an important oil and gas-bearing district of the Nanpu depression. With the guidance of the theory of Sequence Stratigraphy and Seismic Reservoir Forecast, and based on 3D seismic reflection data, well loggings, to carry out fine structure explanation. Dongying Formation in this area is divided into four third-order sequences, which are bonded by unconformities characterized by truncation or onlap contacts and its relevant conformity surfaces. The key point to establish the sequence framework is the identification and correlation of the third-order sequences. And the establishment of sequence framework provides an important chronostratigraphic correlation for the analysis of distribution of system tracts.Finding submarine fan、alluvial fan、fan delta and lacustrine facies of Paleogene, and the fan delta can be divided into three subfacies: fan delta plain, fan-delta front and pro-fan delta, some area can find shallow lacustrine and slump deposition.Through seismic data inversion, at the base of reservoir prediction, combined with structure and sedimentary condition analysis, the favorable reservoirs were forecasted. This study can provide valuable reference and technology methods for oil and gas exploration and development of the area. Regional structure was controlled by long-term developed xinanzhuang fault, with inherited character, the main trap type is fault covered trap type, when the fault was in activity, it can communicate deep oil origin, and play great role in oil and gas accumulation. At the other side, the oil and gas accumulation was controlled by sedimentary background, distributary channel、channel mouth bar and subaqueous fan sandstone bodies in the fan delta facies have good saving capacity, the favorable reservoir facies have advantageous in the forming of the structure-lithologic composite trap.
