As the computer technology, automatic control technology and artificial intelligence technology were introduced to the resistance welding control areas, to improve the welding production automation turned to be an important direction of development of resistance welding control technology. Now Resistance welding control study is focusing on the welding power source and quality control, but the interactive interface as the only exchange platform for the operator and welding equipment is little researched, Today’s mainly Human-computer interaction is using the display panel of operation which is simple interact and inhumane. This paper responses to this situation, combined with real-time operating system’s characteristics which are real-time operating and short development cycle, proposed a welding control system which was based on the full touch screen human-computer interaction, In this welding control system, welding operator can input welding parameters and system parameters on the touch screen, can select the welding mode and observe the welding cycle Straightforward, After welding, the welding current can be shown on the touch screen in real time.This paper By contrast the three kinds of current RMS measurement method, the point integration was introduced to calculate rms current. Combined with the characteristics of the ARM Cortex-M3microcontrollers, The STM32F103ZET6was introduced as spot welding controller Master chip, the chip Produced by STMicroeletro-nics, many superior performance of the chip includes Low-power and High-performance. The chip’s AD converter that was a successive approximation type AD converter was introduced to convert the welding current signal, In order to cut down the time forcal-Culating the current valid values, On the software side, a rapid calculation method of binary number to the square root had be took. The STM32F103ZET6was used as the main kernel of the hardware circuit; the hardware circuit of Spot welding control system includes the start circuit, the synchronous circuit, the current signal processing circuit, SCR trigger circuit. In human-computer interaction, The communication circuit for touch screen and kernel chip was also designed, the text display program for touch screen control was coded according to touch screen command set; The welding current curve can be drawn in time by using the data stored in the touch screen’s buffer; By using the touch screen key code pass back function can achieve the parameters input function.This paper’s software development is under IAR developing environment, the u C/OS-II was successfully transplanted into STM32F103chip after well considered the chip’s characters, and all the codes for the transplanting were gave. Finally, all the task functions, such as welding parameters display function and current curve real-time drawing function were created, By using the μ C/OS-Ⅱ’s real-time scheduling function, the Man-machine interface can achieve the functions that welding parameters input and display, the welding current curve can be drawn automatically after welding.
