In this article, through the analysis of the status of domestic and foreignmunicipal solid waste disposal, the comprehensive treatment of the garbage is garbagerecycle, reduction method. Garbage sorting technology is the key technology of thetreatment process. Wind sorting is an effective sorting methods of municipal solidwaste comprehensive treatment, while our sorting equipment for wind designparameters is not yet mature, according to the present level of the wind electiongarbage technological development, to design and manufacture efficient and low-costhousehold waste sorting equipment, and make it into the comprehensive applicationstage, there are still many insurmountable technical difficulties. Sorting equipment,internal airflow analysis and optimization of the flow field has a very important roleto improve the efficiency of municipal solid waste wind sorting.The numerical simulation for the fluid model of the cyclone was conducted onthe fluent software basic on cyclone separation principle and computational fluiddynamics. Optimized scheme was given combined with previous experimental results.Then, according to the principle of wind sorting and the basic principles ofcomputational fluid dynamics, the numerical simulation for the fluid model of thecyclone was conducted on the fluent software. A reasonable optimized schemecontaining mathematical model, boundary conditions and initial conditions waspresented. To improve the efficiency of wind sorting, the key parameters ofwinnowing equipment, such as the angle of air intake and tube knuckle, the locationof the intake and the overall structure, had been optimized. A more reasonablephysical model was presented.Wind sorting bench was designed and installed in lab. The effects of cylinderangular angle, inlet angle and other factors on the performance of wind sorting wereinvestigated. A new optimized method on the equipment was based on thecomparative analysis on the conclusions of the relevant experiment and the results ofnumerical simulation. The numerical simulation method used in this paper was provedto be reasonable, reliable and applicable to refuse air separation equipment by thegood results of the optimized experiments.
