After years of development of oil transport, fluid transport has become an irreplaceable way. With the continuous development of the national economy, the loss caused by pipeline leak become more serious, which indicate the importance of the leak detection. In order to maintain the normal operation of the pipeline safety, leak detection and monitoring、pipeline location technology is an important research content.The degree of the accuracy and reliability, and convenience are the key for the pipeline inspection and leak location. In light of home and abroad have also been many studies, science and technology workers have done many detection methods of exploration on the basis of the past. The topics are designed spherical detector equipped with a variety of sound internal sensors and accelerometers, and magnetometers and other sensors combined with the signal acquisition and storage, obtained by the solver leak location information. During the pipeline fluid, when there is a small leak, the body wall and the adjacent stream will form abnormal sound field. When sound sensors to detect the ball rolling along the acquisition of sound information, the fluid in the pipeline leak sound field will generated by the direct capture to the voice storage equipment. At the same time, the accelerometer and magnetometer collect the whole distance and displacement information, through which the calculation of leakage of contrast exact location will be got. It is convenient and efficient which meet the modern oil pipeline leak detection needs.This paper focuses on a number of key principles and techniques of the detection of the small size of the mechanical ball bearing structure of the body. There are requests to the pressure shell structure of a series of different indicators of air sealing for the pipeline within the application environment and hardware platform, by which to design and improve voltage shell. It proved that the design method to achieve the testing requirements after spherical shell tightness test.During the detection of the ball in a fluid pipe rolling, the acquisition independent on the sound piped parameters. High-capacity battery can support the detection of long distance. In order to reduce the collection of noise signal and promote the ball rolling, we designed the ball outside of the shell, to ensure optimal sound capture and safe operation of the normal sphere.Conduct simulation to analysis the ball and force state in the fluid, the ball running and the force and movement. Through simulation analysis it appears that the detection of fluid in the pipeline keeps rolling forward. It proposed the algorithm to use of the accelerometer signal to solve the distance information. Collect and process the accelerometer information, conduct laboratory tests and field tests, then we get the conclusion that the feasible of the method.
