For all the purifying devices, Bag Filter is an important practical significance for protectingthe people’s health, improving the environment, satisfying the need of national standard aboutthe draining dust to adapt the effective method to clear the dust. As an effective device, bagfilter becomes more and more important.There are some differences about the bag filter technology in comparison with the foreignadvanced technology, scientific research power is correspondingly unsubstantial and dispersed,scientific research resort get behind, and database has not shaped completely. At the same time,some aspects, such as manage system; experimentation research, design and manufacture can’twork in phase and effectively. For the design of this type structure, there is no effective designcriterion to follow. The bag filter design largely depends on the engineering experience andconservative design is used in the actual engineering design. More materials are used and thecost of the construction increases. Therefore, optimization design for this type of structure isextremely important of practical value. Because the structure is subjected to various loads, theforce on the structure is very complicated. It is difficult to calculate the stress and deformationof the structure by the simple calculation method, so the finite element calculation is aneffective method.After inspecting the company, relevant studies were conducted about the problems thatexist in the structure and construction for reference.In this paper, the theory for the structure of the bag filter was studied and the value of theallowable stress for the structure was introduced. Considered the requirement of the criterion,four basic loading modes were decided. Using finite element software, structural analysis of bagfilter was carried out under different loading modes. Then the stress and deformation of the bagfilter and the main component were calculated. Based on the data of the finite element analysis,some structural optimization schemes were made to the bag filter.The main research outcomes in this paper are: By reduce the thickness of the wall, theamount of steel can be reduced, then the project cost can be saved. Moreover, the optimizationstructure meets the demands of strength and deformation.
