The organic conductive polymer absorbing materials has been a rapid development in recent years because of its adjustable electric and magnetic parameters, light weight, high chemical stability and good compatibility. Long-chain conjugated Schiff bases is in a new class of organic conductive polymer absorbing materials possessing single and double bonds in its main chain. Long-chain conjugated Schiff bases have good electrical conductive properties and microwave absorbing properties. So it is important for the study of the Schiff bases in the field of conductive materials and absorbing materials using the study of Long-chain conjugated Schiff bases and its salt.In this paper, six kinds of Long-chain conjugated Schiff bases were synthesized, and eighteen kinds of Long-chain conjugated Schiff bases salt were synthesized with transition metal. The structures of the compounds have been characterized by IR, UV-VIS and GPC. The conductivity of the compounds have been tested. In addition, a class of Schiff bases and a class of Schiff bases salt were doped with carbon nanotubes and magnetic materials, composite prepared two new composite absorbing materials. The electric and magnetic parameters and reflectivity of new composite absorbing materials have been tested. The full text is divided into four parts.1. The general radar absorbing materials and Schiff Bases absorbing materials research and the synthesis method of the Schiff bases have been described. On this basis of this research goals and programs have been raised.2. Three kinds of shrink dialdehyde and diamine Long-chain conjugated Schiff bases have been designed and synthesized. Nine kinds of Long-chain conjugated Schiff bases salt were synthesized with transition metal. The structures of the compounds have been characterized by IR, UV-VIS and GPC. The conductivity of the compounds have been tested.3. Three kinds of shrink diketone and diamine Long-chain conjugated Schiff bases have been designed and synthesized. Nine kinds of Long-chain conjugated Schiff bases salt were synthesized with transition metal. The structures of the compounds have been characterized by IR, UV-VIS and GPC. The conductivities of the compounds have been tested.4. A class of Schiff bases and a class of Schiff bases salt were doped with conductive material X and magnetic materials. Two new composite absorbing materials have been made. The conductive properties and microwave absorbing properties of two composite have been tested. The results show that they have excellent microwave absorbing properties in the7.6GHz~16.6GHz range of more than8dB absorbing losses.
