As one of the commonly used welding ways in welding industry, resistancewelding is widely used in machinery, aviation, aerospace, automobile manufacturingand other fields in modern society.Spot welding machine has the three components of the inverter power supply,pressurizing mechanism and control system. The purpose of this topic is to build thefoundation for the product of the new spot welding machine by designing orimproving the three components based on the previous work.The main work for the power is to improve the circuit of the previous inverterpower which is reflected by achieving10KHz inverter frequency and20KA outputcurrent.DC servo motor pressure system is used in this topic which is composed of servocontroller and spot welding pressure system. The main work is to improve the servocontroller by achieving the control of the DC motor. The topic creatively uses thecorrespondence between the DC motor armature current and electrode pressure. It isreflected by achieving the control of the electrode pressure by controlling the DCmotor armature current and getting the saddle-shaped curve of pressure.The assembly controller has two components of hardware and software. The twocircuit boards both use STM32103FRCT6, one of the32-bit ARM chips. The price ofthe chip is low. And the amply bus interfaces of the chip enhance the communicationcapability. Spot welding experiments confirmed that the stability of this controller isgood, and is able to complex welding process.
