As a kind of surface treatment technology, the decorative and functionality ofelectroplating have being used in different kinds of parts widely. At present,electroplating industry exist some serious problems including product qualityunstabitily and low efficiency, automatic electroplating production line is the mosteffective way to solve the above problems. So it is important practical value todevelop an automatic electroplating production line.Taking the surface processing workshop of fastener as the research object, thisarticle designs the overall layout and overall control system of automaticelectroplating production line after analysising production program and processingtechnology. This production line could treat several different processes at the sametime, its control system could change processes expediently,real time monitor theproduction status and storage technology parameter, has higher automation degree.The control system uses hierarchical control pattern of "PC+PLC+actuators",which is a three-layer network structure connecting by PROFIBUS: using IPC tocontrol the whole production system on the first layer, SIEMENS S7-300PLC andS7-200as the controllers of intermediate layer, sensors and actuators being located onthe bottom. The control system adopts the thought of "centralized management anddistributed control", which ensures each subsystem is able to complete functionindependently and dispersedly. With this kind of control mode, the mutual interferencebetween devices is decreased, thus the reliability of the production line is increased.Based on designing the whole structure of the production line, this paper studiedthe hardware structure and software solutions. In terms of the hardware, it focuses onhoist control, heating control, PH control, tank liquor control, current control, motorcontrol and so on. As for software, the key design is scheduling system of hoist,control procedure of hoist, communication, man-machine interface, etc. This linefulfills automation of plating, improves the stability of the product quality andproduction efficiency, which has high application value of popularization.
