The worldwide resource crisis becomes more and more serious. On thisbackground, people are looking for new energy to add or replace the normal energy, butit is also important for industrial energy saving at the same time. Industry is by far thelargest energy consumer in most country in the world. In our country, industry energyconsumption accounts for71.3percent of the nation’s total primary energy consumed in2009.Therefore, it is urgent to improve industrial control technology for reducingindustry energy consumption. In the cast house of blast furnace, when it is tapping time,dedusting fan usually operates under the designed load ignoring the changes of dustgeneration, which waste a lot of energy. So it has important significance to study theenergy-saving control of dedusting fan in cast house.Energy consumption of dedusting fan take up the dominate position in the wholededusting system in blast furnace cast house. This paper mainly study on the controlalgorithm in order to realize the dedusting fan speed tracking dust generation speed inblast furnace cast house, which aims to save energy. By now most dedusting fans’control are mainly by human’s judgment: the dedusting fan operates on high speedwhen tapping, and on low speed at other times, which has low level of automation. Thisoperation mode dose not make full use of the inverter’s regulating capacity, and it has acommon energy-saving effect. To realize the automatic control of dedusting fan, thispaper presents a method that making detection of environment dust concentrationbesides the dust source as feedback data. While it has a wide range of dust in cast house,so there are several dust sources. Then we have to detect the environment dustconcentration besides the several main dust sources and obtain a multi-group data. Toselect the appropriate feedback data, this paper puts forward three evaluation index fromthe angle of control, and takes subjective factors into indicators with efficacy coefficientmethod, and then uses entropy method for the comprehensive evaluation, selecting thedata which has the highest comprehensive evaluation value for feedback. With thediscontinuity of feedback data and the imprecision of dust concentration model, fuzzylogical control algorithm is considered, and a fuzzy rule base is established according tothe system characteristics. MATLAB software are used for simulation of dedustingcontrol system under the proposed strategy in contrast to conventional feedbackalgorithm and control algorithm. The simulation results show that the control strategy can realize the automatic control of dedusting fan speed tracking dust concentration inblast furnace cast house, with lots of energy saved and cast house conditions ensured.The dynamic performance of fuzzy control is better than the traditional PID control, andfeedback data selected by comprehensive evaluation algorithm save more energy thanmaximum algorithm.In addition, the temperature reflects dust generation rate, and temperature detectionis relatively more practical than concentration detection in the abominable environmentin cast house. This paper then studies a control algorithm based on temperaturedetection. Adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control algorithm is proposed for dedusting fancontrol, in the condition that the system structure is clear but the system model unclear.Then design the adaptive fuzzy sliding mode controller, and make the simulationexperiment The results show that, this control algorithm can achieve the control target,at the same time accomplishing system identification.
