Because of the small density, high strength, high fatigue strength, damping suspensionperformance is good, magnetic shielding the gender is good, and a series of excellentperformance, magnesium alloys is the right materials which is realized lightweight and canimprove the weapon equipment technical index . For that equipment can adapt to a variety ofcomplex service environment, it is necessary to study the impact resistance of magnesiumalloy component. This paper studied the plastic deformation parameters of ZK60 magnesiumalloys , and discusses the dynamic mechanics behavior after thermal deformation.Homogenizing treatment the ZK60 magnesium alloy as-cast samples at differenttemperatures, different holding time, through microstructure, determine the best ZK60magnesium alloy homogenization heat treatment process. Through the thermal simulationcompression tests, in the deformation temperature of 150—350℃, strain rate of 0.01—10S-1.The thermal deformation behavior of ZK60 magnesium alloys has been studied. According tothe dynamic model material, calculates and analyzes the data getting the processing maps forhot working of ZK60 magnesium alloy. Using the map won the best parameters for thermalprocess. According to the best parameters, extrude the ZK60 magnesium alloys in300℃, 340℃, 380℃at low strain rate, then test their quasi static mechanical properties anddynamic mechanics performance, combined with the microstructure, draw some conclusionswhich as follows:(1)When extruding the ZK60 magnesium alloy, the stress decreases with the temperatureincrease, while increase as the strain rate decreases. Through processing map , in above 300℃below 1S-1strain rate region, the power dissipation coefficient of ZK60magnesium alloy is0.48, it’s good for ZK60’s forming.(2)Because of the grain growth, the quasi static mechanics performance of the sampleextrude in 380℃is the worst. Due to the twining, the quasi static mechanics performance ofthe sample extrude in 300℃is worse than that of in 340℃. the quasi static mechanicsperformance of the sample extrude in 340℃is the best for it’s dynamic recrystallization little grain.(3)On the dynamic mechanics performance test of ZK60 magnesium alloy, strain rateeffect is obvious. Compared with three kinds of sample extruded in 300℃、340℃、380℃,thenaging, when the strain rate is less than or equal to 2000S-1, energy absorption of sampleextrude at 300℃then aging is the best. When the strain rate is 2600S-1, energy absorption ofsample extruded at 340℃then aging is the best which achieved 84.57Jm-3, slightly higherthan that extruded at 300℃then aging.
