Quality varieties of Bulgarian Damask Rose were selected in this thesis, which were imported from Canada. Some important features of Bulgarian Rose were explored which contained the cultivation of roses, the characteristics of aroma composition in the roses, preservation methods and rose oil extraction process, etc.In order to improve the rooting rate, four different concentration of ABT and three substrates for three varieties of Rosa rugosa cutting were selected in the study. At the same time, a favorable temperature and humidity should be controlled well. The results demonstrated that, the rooting rate of four seasons is highest, and celsiana has lowest rate. The best substrate is perlite, and the favorite concentrations of ABT for three varieties are orderly50mg/kg,100mg/kg,30mg/kg. The rooting rate has10-15percentage points higher after using ABT.Aromatic ingredients of flowers of three cultivars in nurture were analysed by dynamic headspace collection and TCT-GC/MS. At the same environmental condition, there were63compounds identified in four seasons,63compounds in celsiana and55compounds in rose de rescht.The. results demonstrated that four seasons and celsiana have more aromatic ingredients than rose de rescht.Aromatic ingredients of flowers of rose de rescht in different flowering phases in nurture were analysed in the thesis. The results demonstrated that there were the most compounds and the best quality during the blooming phase. The daily dynamic variation of the aromatic ingredients of flowers in four seasons was analysed. The results demonstrated that the daily change was different in different weather. There were the most compounds and the best quality at14:00.The change of aromatic ingredients of flowers of four seasons by different preservation methods were analysed in the thesis. The results demonstrated that rose de rescht could keep75d at its best in-20℃condition.A modified oil extraction apparatus was used in the experiment of improving the technological optimization of extracting volatile oil from rose. Volatile oil ingredients of flowers were analysed by using GC/MS and internal standard method. Based on single factor experiments, the optimal extraction process was determined using central composite design combined with response surface methodology. Results showed that the optimal extraction process was based on heat reflux extraction of powdered raw material grinding with distilled water at a liquid/solid ratio of25:1(mL/g) for8.5h.
