| In the heavy industry-oriented20th century, a lot of mineral resources has been disorderly exploited, so that resources drastically reduced. At the same time, along with the urban industrial structure adjustment, the industry faces restructuring, upgrade. More and more ’brownfield site’ has turned up in the city center or around the city, which contains many’mining brownfields’, they are ’scars’of Earth’s surface left by human beings.As early as the middle of the last century, the practice of regeneration of mining wasteland has appeared in Europe and the United States, so some excellent mining wasteland regeneration case was came out. In recent years more attention has been paid to the redevelopment of mining wasteland in China. In2004, the Mine Park transformation plan, which proposed by Ministry of Land and Resources, promotes mining wasteland regeneration practice of China. The industrial heritage tourism and mining tourism development, also promote the reconstruction of mining wasteland and revival of the mining city.The initial stage of the mining wasteland regeneration often uses a single ecological restoration technology, in order to achieve the goal of mining wasteland reclamation. But now, our society is experienced rapid population growth and scarcity of land resources. Mining wasteland as a large area of urban development backup, it is not enough to achieve the purpose of ecological restoration. We should consider more points of view, like the needs of the community, urban planning, landscape ecology, and propose more new ideas for the regeneration mode of mining wasteland. The land resource is a valuable asset, so the optimal allocation of land resources can promote the healthy development of the urban economy and society.In this thesis, I described the concept of mining wasteland and explored the characteristics of the mining wasteland and the problems faced in the regeneration process; on the basis of comprehensive study of the theoretical and practical course of mining wasteland regeneration, a detailed analysis of the landscape and eco-design ways of the mining wasteland regeneration has be proposed; then I used case analysis method, to study mining wasteland regeneration cases, and summarized and explored mining wasteland regeneration mode, and the regeneration strategy recommendations. |
