In this thesis, the2-aryl pyridines were synthesized by Pd-catalyzed Stille cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides with organotin reagents. The main results obtained are as follows:We have developed the combination of palladium acetate with commercial available PCy3as catalyst for the Stille cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides with2-organotin pyridine as shown in Scheme1. A series of2-aryl pyridines were obtained in moderate to good yields. The catalytic system tolerated various functional groups. The key point of such catalytic transformation is proper base and solvent. Then we also synthesize a compound which will be used in the Photosystem â…¡. The relative reaction mechanism was proposed as shown in Scheme2.
