Dobby has served as a kind of typical shedding mechanism along with the shuttleless loom, theadvanced technology and excellent characteristics of which provides the indispensable accessoryfor the development of high-speed, flexible loom. The ZGT98dobby represents one of the mosttypical rotary electronic dobby, in order to provide certain theory basis and reference target forthe development of more high-grade loom, we need to in-depth study its transmission principleand carry out necessary institutional improvement. This article made a comprehensive machineryresearch to this type from the conventional point of the mechanism analysis. Specially, itincludes the detailed research to the dobby condition, the analysis on the basic principles of thetransmission mechanism, and the two or three-dimensional model establishment and its originalsimulation, then the kinematics、dynamics modeling and analysis, and finally we made finiteelement analysis on the key component, which also involves the reverse design of the major twoconjugates.Aiming at the machine’s structure of the typical ZGT98rotary electronic dobby, this paperhas carried on the transmission principle analysis on the election comprehensive mechanism,lifting comprehensive mechanism and spindle speed-change mechanism, and modeled two orthree-dimension to the main transmission of the relevant components, also made a preliminarysimulation study. During the kinematics research, according to the reasonable simplification onmechanism, we established two kinematics model of the cam alone and rod separate effects, andmade the relevant kinematics, which comes from the vector triangle angle, and through to thedetailed analysis on the four kind of vector triangle. From the angle of cam mechanismkinematics analysis, this article conducted a reverse design on the selection comprehensiveconjugate cam, accordance with a cam mechanism with oscillating follower,which based on MATALB,and from the angle of impact on inertia force, it also analyzed the design effect on before andafter; During the reverse design on shedding conjugate cam, according to the kinematic analysisand related programming, we obtain the location parameter law about the relevant components and get a result that a good cam contour line can be designed if the movement rule of theshedding cam follower can be set in accordance with the swing arm on the spindle.Considering the component elasticity change how to really effect the mechanism, werespectively build two large bodies of elastic dynamics model about the selection and liftingcomprehensive mechanism, then simplify and solve the each dynamic model from the view ofequivalent conversion model, and finally analyze the dynamics response. Considering thestress-strain variation of components, we reasonablely acces the component load status throughthe data processing function on the MATLAB and related calculation, not only that, but werespectively make the finite element analysis on the heddle selecting conjugate cam, sheddingconjugate cam and shedding arm which are the three of the most typical elements.. The overallresults will provide strong theoretical basis and reference of design to the further improvementon the relevant institutions.
