Drug slow-release material is a class of polymer materials,which can delay the drug torelease for more than eight hours. It’s very important for the field of medicament, it is also theone of the important research direction for chemistry, biology, material science. The use offine drug slow-release materials can reduce or avoid clinical adverse drug reactions due tohigh concentration. All of these can reduce times of taking medicine, improve patientcompliance degrees, and guarantee continuity of the medical treatment, at same time it canimprove the accuracy and validity of drug treatment.In the research, isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI) and polytetrahydrofuran glycol (PTMG)were used as the basic raw material, dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA) is as extension agentand 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) is as coupling agent. Acrylic-modifiedwaterborne polyurethane( 1, 4-butyl glycol (BDO) is also as chain extension) has beensynthesized by a chemical process of nuclear shell emulsion copolymerization. The acrylicester has been successfully introduced to molecular of waterborne polyurethane by detectingof the infrared spectrum . The influencing relation between the content of DMPA, R value,MMA , the weight of solid and the factors of WPUA appearance, viscosity, stability, peelstrength, ratio of absorbing water , tensile strength had been studied . The results show: whenthe content of DMPA is 6%, ratio of PU/PA is 8:2 and the content of solid is 35%-40%, theperformance index of WPUA emulsion and film of glue is excellent .On the condition of optimum synthetic technology, hydroxypropyl silicone oil (PDMS)was put in. The influence about the weight of organic silicone compound had been treated.Experiments indicate that the organic silicon has been already inset to molecular chain, theoptimum content of organic silicon is 10% to13%.The study also utilizes the advantage of 3Dstructure of WPU, mix, extend ,spread WPU with certain amount of indometaci,microcapsules covering with modified polyurethane had been made up. From the experiment of drug loading ,What can be testified is that it possess great drug loading andslow-release feature and is a suitable slow-release material for external drug. This study hasproduced evident for further experiments.
