In the traditional nitrification and denitrification process exist problems of the morenergy consunption, complicated to operate and high operating costs, especially on theprocessing low C/N wastewater. This research use new kind of controllednitrosation-anaerobic ammonium oxidation technology to achieve the progress during theprogress of biological nitrogen removal in wastewater, by optimizing the controlparameters, to support a research to the start and stable operation of this process.The start of nitrosation in the SBR. Reactor start from a lower ammonia load,contains only inorganic carbon in wastewater. Through the controlling pH, DO and runload, and gradually increase the ammonia influent loading, after SBR run after118d. toachieve the start and stable operation of partial nitrification process. When the influenttotal nitrogen load is0.055kg/m3·d, the average total nitrogen removal volumetric loadingand sludge loading can reach0.043kg/m3·d and0.16kg/(kg·d), the average the averagenitrite accumulation rate can reach83.4%.Intermittent operation anaerobic ammonia oxidation experiment influent ammoniaand nitrite ratio of1:1, sdium bicarbonate to provide carbon and alkalinity. Through thereactor run effect gradually increase the running load. After the reactor run151d, and atthe same time the influent total nitrogen loading is0.06kg/m3·d, the average total nitrogenremoval volumetric loading and sludge loading can reach0.0488kg/m3·d and0.04kg/(kg·d), the average total nitrogen removal efficiency reach78%.ASBR as the continuous operation of the reactor, influent ammonia concentration andnitrite concentration ratio of1:1, the carbon source for the inorganic carbon source. Afterthe reactor run103d, and when the influent total nitrogen loading is0.032kg/m3·d,theaverage total nitrogen removal efficiency reach22.6%.During the process of SBR start-up and stable operation, the NOB population densityreduce from2.0x105mL-1to1.5x104mL-1, the relative abundance reduce from5.51%to2.14%; the AOB population density increase from4.5x104mL-1to1.5x107mL-1, therelative abundance increase from0.18%to7.25%. During the process of ANAMMOXstart-up and stable operation, the abundance of the anaerobic ammonium oxidizingbacteria in the anaerobic reactor increased from0.06%to9.62%. The increasing of theabundance of anaerobic ammonium oxidizing bacteria improved the operation function ofreactor, and also improved the function of high water load.
