China has abundant coal resources, which, with a total amount far more than that of the oil and gas resources, has a dominant position in china’s energy consumption structure. Therefore, the efficient and clean utilization of coal resources is an important part of energy development strategy in China. In recent years, the coal-based coproduction system and technology in china has been got a rapid development. Methanol, as the base product of C1chemistry engineering, is an important organic raw material. And the main components of the syngas after coal gasification are CO and H2, which has great advantage for the synthesis of methanol. Therefore, the methanol synthesized system based on coal gasification has good prospects for the development.This paper aims to research and analyze of the methanol synthesized system based on coal gasification. First of all, this paper makes a detail review on the research status and the operation principle of main units system in the system processes. Then, based on the production example, a model of each subsystem of the methanol synthesis system on the basis of gasification was established in the paper. Later, the results yielded by this model are compared with the real production data to verify the feasibility of the model. Finally, the main operation parameters with the coal gasification system, water gas transformation system and methanol synthesis system was optimized and analyzed, in order to propose the best optimization parameters of the system.Based on the production examples, the models of each subsystem of the methanol synthesis system based on coal gasification are established and analyzed. As shown by the results, the simulation result of each subsystem model agrees well with the actual manufacturing value, and the error results are within acceptable range. Using the model established in this paper to optimize and analyze the main operation parameters in coal gasification system, water gas transformation system and methanol synthesis system, the results shows that the coal gasification system in this paper works best for coal gasification system when the selected Texaco coal gasification is simulated in this paper and when the concentration coal-water slurry is68%, the oxygen-coal ratio0.95, the gasification temperature1350℃and the gasification pressure4.2MPa. For the water gas transformation system, When the steam-gas ratio is0.21-0.39and the gasification temperature is between230℃and250℃, the performance of the transform system is maore excellent and satisfies the requirements of the methanol synthesis system. For the methanol synthesis system, the methanol production drops with the increase of the ratio of hydrogen to carbon in freed gas. The conversion rate of CO and H2increase and the content of methanol at outlet decreases when the recycling ratio is increasing. The production of methanol is increases, and the power consumption of the compressor will be higher at the same time.
