Potato starch wastewater is the difficulty and emphasis in the wastewater treatment, there is currently no very effective method. This article from resource utilization, put forward a kind of less investment, simple operation and management, rational use of resources approach, and conducted a preliminary exploration.First, several pretreatment methods of potato starch wastewater are preliminarily investigated, and the pretreatment methods includ adsorption, coagulation sedimentation, alkali and hydrolysis acidification method.In the paper, attapulgite(A), bentonite(B), activated carbon(C) is selected as the adsorption material. In attapulgite and bentonite clay adsorption treatment, when attapulgite is5g, bentonite is10g, COD removal rate is up to50.99%. When activated carbon dosage is10g, COD removal rate can reach72.00%. In coagulation sedimentation experiments using polyaluminum chloride (PAC) and polyacrylamide (PAM) to treat wastewater, when the dosage of PAC is5.5g/L, PAM0.3g/L, the removal rate is up to34.22%. Alkali treatment of potato starch wastewater, the removal rate of COD can reach26.67%. Hydrolysis acidification treatment of potato starch wastewater, treatment effect increases with the fermentation time,12days later, COD removal rate can reach22.26%.Next, the combination of pretreatment methods treat potato starch wastewater, and the combination modes mainly include the flocculation+adsorption method, alkali+adsorption, acid hydrolysis+adsorption. Through the analysis of experimental results, determine the hydrolytic acidification+Attapulgite and bentonite clay adsorption as the treatment technology of potato starch wastewater, finally.On this basis, coagulation sedimentation is combined with activated carbon(C), attapulgite(A) and bentonite(B) mixed clay, COD removal efficiency of the PAC+PAM+10gC combination is up to81.87%, PAC+PAM+5gA+10gB combination, the COD removal efficiency of59.08%. Next hydrolytic acidification is combined with activated carbon, attapulgite and bentonite mixed clay, with the increase of the natural incubation time, COD removal efficiency gradually increases, hydrolytic acidification+5gA±10gB removal efficiency of90.46%, hydrolytic acidification+10gC removal rate can reach95.95%, but activated carbon treatment cost is high, and the regeneration difficult, ultimately determine cheap attapulgite and bentonite mixed clay as a final processing materials, and explore the mass ratio, pH, mixing clay amount, stirring time, the temperature of the treatment effect in attapulgite and bentonite mixed clay treatment of potato starch wastewater, ultimately determine the mass ratio=5gA:10gB, pH=5-6, mixed clay quantity of15g, stirring time30min, the temperature of20℃as the best conditions, the average removal rate can reach40.85%.Finally, after standing precipitation, the supernatant fails to meet discharge standards, we raise ecosystem pond as follow-up treatment, and prove the ecological pond treatment of potato starch wastewater feasible through some examples. The precipitate is a mixture containing large amounts of organic substances, which will cause environmental pollution without further treatment. We can considere using the mixtures for the preparation of high absorbent resin material, not only to re-use useful resources, but also to reduce environmental pollution.
