With the development of national economy and enlargement of world commerce, manufacturing occupies an important place in the national economy.The increasing demand for gear, gear technology also will develop rapidly, the high bearing capacity of the double circular arc gear, lubrication condition is superior, good running-in properties and long service life, manufacturing process is simple and other advantages, is quite attention and application in metallurgy, mine and petroleum chemical industry. Because of the wide application of the double circular arc gear, which promote its processing method constantly update. In China in recent years the development of numerical control technology makes the processing technology of the double circular arc gear gradually to the numerical control technology near.Through the analysis of the double circular arc gear meshing theory and driving, and combined with the processing technology of the double circular arc gear and characteristics, the use of a3D model is the example analysis of the design of the CNC processing procedures in numerical control machine tool to the double circular arc gear entity processing, and enter the code to create a pair of the double circular arc gear. The effectiveness of the double circular arc gear is the feasibility in the NC machining.Recently, Whatever hardware device, control system, CAD and manufacturing software etc, they almost have been monopolied by machine tools and software imported. People do not pay attention to domestic equipment, control system and related auxiliary software. The price of import products are expensive, their system is large and their key technology is blockaded to domestic.The idea on study which were explored in this paper, were both based on homebred theories of CNC machining and technology studies. In the process of experimental design and machining, CNC machining centers J1VMC500B which was researched and developed by Jinan first machine tool Co.ltd and HuaZhong "Century Star" HNC-21M CNC system which was researched and developed by Huazhong University of Science and Technology was chosen for software and hardware equipment. The purpose of this is to use homebred software and hardware equipment mostly, and then improve the application of hardware equipment in practical production, finally impelled the research and develops of domestic CNC.The another innovative research is to try to use universal numerical control machine tools and universal tools, explore CNC processing technology of circular arc gears, guarantee machining precision, improve production efficiency, reduce the dependence of special machine tools and special cutting tools in the gear-cutting process and provide valuable reference for reducing the processing cost.
