The paper has introduced a highly active catalytic system for CO2/propylene oxide copolymerization and an efficient restore performance of the catalyst, the Friedel-Crafts acylation of phenol using2-chlorobutyryl chloride and subsequent hydrogenation made a (CH2)2Cl group in the para position.the chloro substituent was transformed into a more reactive iodo substituent, because the chloro substituent was not sensitive to nucleophilic substitution with tributylamin.We produce the quaternary ammonium salt salen-type ligand nearly quantitative yields.then inert BF4-take the place of the iodo ion.Replace this BF4-with an active2,4-dinitrophenolate anion Lastly,the new SalenCoⅢX catalyst conformity the design expect.Afterward, we were able to revert the catalyst and recycle it.In the course of synthesizing SalenCoⅢX, The optimization design of reaction processes is very important research in all reactions. In the acylation reaction the effects of the reactants ratio, reactants catalyst., and temperature on products yield were examined, then given a best reaction condition, The results showed that in the phenol-chloroacetyl chloride-anhydrous aluminum chloride (1:1:1.1), the highest acylation degree could be obtained at20℃.The chemical reaction must be conducted in the absence of oxygen and water to synthesize5-(2-Chloroethyl)-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde The results showed that in the4-(2-Chloroethyl) phenol—Paraformaldehyde—triethylamine—nhydrous magnesium chloride (1:4:4.2:1), It has many advantages: high yield. If there is water, It can make catalyst to reduce catalytic activity. This mixture was heated to reflux for4hour, With no water for ethanol solvent separation product. Cobalt(II) acetate and schiff were dissolved in ethanol under an O2atmosphere.The catalyst and intermediate of structure and content was analyzed with infrared spectroscopy(IR),’HNMR,13C-NMR.
