The galvanized sheet with special surface morphology has particular use inmanufacturing industry. The surface appearance of cold rolled sheet play an importantrole in the course of spangle grow up. The surface appearance of cold rolled sheet ispassed on to the surface appearance of roller. The topography and state distribution ofroughen point on the roller’s surface had direct effected on the surface state of rollers,So the topography of spangle on the galvanized sheet is closely identified with thetopography and state distribution of roughen point on the roller.In2010, LanZhou University of Technology and New Metallurgy Hi-Tech Grouphave developed a flexible workstation of roughen laser technology. In this paper usedthe flexible workstation experiment on the surface of roller. After this experiment thesurface of roller have roughen point which distributed ordered and disordered. Bymeans of changed the technological parameter of laser texturing, such as laser power,speed of industrial robot, laser pulse frequency, duty ratio and multiple wave formswith different laser pulse frequency and duty ratio, we can obtained disordered pointthat have different reticular density, different topography of roughen point. Andanalyzed the relationship about the different distribution of roughen point and therelevant topography of the spangles.The experimental result proved by means of changed the technological parameter,under the other conditions, The denser of roughen point, the less of the size, thesmaller of curvature radius, the bigger of surface roughen on the roller; and thesmaller of curvature radius, the bigger of surface roughen on the roller, the more ofmicro-pits on the surface, the smaller of measurement of spangles, and the better ofplating coating performance. Comparative analyzed used the roller which have thedisordered distribution roughen point, the measurement of the spangles littler anduniformity, and has snowflake morphology.
