Organic Electroluminescent Materials are drawing more and moreattention,especially the conjugate material with Silole unit, because itsunique structure and excellent performance in the research field oforganic electroluminescent materials. Silole unit in the ring system giventhe rigidity of the molecular structure because of Si atoms involved inbridging conjugate, affecting the optical and electrical properties of thematerial. Starting from the point of view of molecular design, we firstsynthesized the PAE with Silole unit (poly aromatic acetylene), itsstructure and photophysical properties were studied, initially explore therelationship between molecular structure and properties to provide somebasic data of light-emitting materials for organic electronics system.Details are as follows:(1) through the exploration of synthetic routes, the design and synthesisof a series of copolymers containing Silole unit and aromatic acetylenepolymer were obtained.The structures were determined by NMR. GPC results showed that the polymer molecular weight is concentrated inabout10000polymer is about10.(2) The use of the UV absorption spectra of polymer in the solutionstate found that the polymer added to the aromatic ring copolymer unit,the polymer UV absorption intensity increases, the absorption wavelengthshorter. Also investigated the UV absorption spectrum of the polymer indifferent solvents, the UV absorption spectra of the polymer is almost nochange, indicating that the polymer has good solvent stability.(3)Fluorescence emission of the polymer in the solution state, wereunder taken. Emission wavelength of several polymers in the near UV-visible, with the polymer copolymerization of aromatic ring unit, themaximum emission wavelength position and intensity are different.Investigated the fluorescence emission spectra in different solventconditions, and did not change significantly. Calculated fluorescencequantum efficiency of several polymers in the solution by thefluorescence emission spectra of solution state, the quantum efficiency ofthe polymers were92,0.37,0.77,0.74.(4) investigated the optical stability of the polymers, the fluorescenceemission spectra of the annealed and without annealing, the emissionspectra are almost unchanged.
