Functionally graded materials (abbreviated FGM) is a special non-uniform materials. Since the Japanese scientists first proposed the design concept, the study of functionally graded materials has aroused great concern of the majority of scholars. Although initially proposed the idea of functionally graded materials are only used in the aerospace field, the special mechanical properties of functionally graded, it has been widely used in electronics, chemical, nuclear energy, optics, acoustics, biomedical and civil engineering many other areas. The study of functionally graded materials, both rich theoretical research, but also the needs of practical engineering applications. Due to the heterogeneity of functionally graded materials, the theoretical analysis of the structure of this material more difficult. This article is in the past, Spencer’s uniform and non uniform elastic material the exact solution on the basis of the study to establish the basic equations of elasticity, the thickness of rectangular functionally graded plates and analysis of materials for isotropic and orthotropic in the plate surface are uniformly distributed Loads at the same time assume that the plate is infinitely long in one direction, resulting in a functionally graded plate cylinder bending elasticity solution and a numerical example to discuss the different boundary conditions and the degree of gradient of functionally graded plate with static force response.
