In order to study the Phase partitioning of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in nanchang, the samples of TSP and gaspollutants were collected in Nanchang university, during the period from July2010to July2011. The compounds of PAHs were analyzed by gas-chromatography mass spectrometry determination. Combined with meteorological data during the sampling period, this study reported levels of PAHs concentrations in gaspollutants, time and seasonal variations, described distribution balance of PAHs in the gas-particle phase. Some results are listed below:1、The total concentration of PAHs in gas phase ranged from41.629to81.026ng m-3, with an average of62.578ngm-3for all samples. The concentration of phe is the highest, flowing with flu, respectively accounted for49.38%-15.39%to total concentration.2、The correlation between The concentration of flo and Ant in gas phase and temperature were positive. And other correlations were generally ordinary in the all year. The correlation between the gas/partition coefficient(Kp) of the five PAHs and temperature were positive. but the correlations of Phe、flu and Pyr were not well.3、The predominant PAHs were3-ring compounds, and less2~4-ring were found. in the air.4、5typical kinds of PAHs were used to stduy the traditional adsorption model By this way, we can obtain the influence of the concentration of organic carbon in PAHs partitioning between gas and particle. After use experimental outputs to fit the traditional adsorption model, we can conclude the machanisms for the PAHs partitioning in the gas/solid include:surface adsorption and distribution of organic phase inside.5、logKp and logKow、logKw、logPLo have significant linear relationship. So it is meaningful to use these properties to predict partitioning coefficient.
