Study On The Pricing Causes And The Strategies Of The Forest Carbon Sink Trading

Global warming is one of the top ten environmental problems which human face, but also serious challenges for mankind in the21st century. Because of its unique carbon sequestration in the mitigation of climate warming, the forest ecosystem plays an extremely important role in slowing climate warming, forest carbon sinks service becomes a scarce economic resource. Secondly, the article combined with current situation of the forest carbon trade pricing. mainly talking about the problem of it. The article point out that it may improve the Price mechanism and enhance the efficiency of the Market allocation by introducing the stock option system. In addition, it builds the pricing model of the Chinese carbon emissions option on the basis of the B-S model, and calculate it by examples. By the data of the comparison with the European Union.the article confirms that the Chinese forest carbon price is too low, and then the article analyzes the causes of it. It provide reference for the follow-up study on the carbon trading price of China.Chinese forest carbon sink trading market is in the initial build stage, the market trading patterns of forest carbon sinks and the correct choice of pricing method, has great significance to China. Given the low market price of forest carbon sinks, has been in the reality of pure seller’s market, lack of pricing power, I believe that China should change the trading patterns, the establishment of a market trading system for futures market as the main carrier, with the cooperation project and proposed the idea of the trading price of the plight of the crack of forest carbon sinks.
