The main components of plasticizer is phthalates, it is a class of refractory organic compounds that be used for the synthesis of plastics, application widely, its main function is to increase the plasticity and strength of plastic. Phthalates are a kind of environmental hormone, trace can damage the balance function of the hormone in blood, to interfere with the normal operation of the endocrine system, and harm the birth of human body, development, behavior, especially for muscle system, fetal bone and central nervous system greatly. Taiwan has detected that it contain6kinds of Phthalates in food at least Since May2011,such as DEHP, DINP, DNOP, DBP, DMP, DEP. by June8, Taiwan has detected that food contained plasticizer agent has reached961items. June1, The health ministry issued an emergency notice, add the Phthalates material to the non-food illegal substances and abuse of food additives list. It produces the high concentration of plasticizer wastewater in the production and use of plasticizer, it will pollute water and soil if not was processed into the environment, and was degraded difficultly in a short time. Thus it harms human health, life seriously. So a kind of effective, environmental protection treatment process is imminent.The plasticizer wastewater was treated by the extraction process first, after that, the wastewater was continue to be degraded by the UV-oxidation degradation process, the plasticizer wastewater to be treated achieves the first standard of "Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard"(GB8978-1996). In the extraction process, the simulation wastewater concentration set as60400mg/L, the main components of the plasticizer wastewater were dibutyl phthalate. Select the carbon tetrachloride as extraction agent through the experiment, Set five factors for the ratio between extractant and wastewater, extraction time, temperature, diluted times and pH, than diluted times, pH. The orthogonal test of orthogonal table chooses Li6(45), Under the standard COD determination, the result of experiment shows the optimum extraction conditions which are as follows:the ratio between extractant and wastewater is0.6, extraction time is3min, pH is3and the temperature is35℃. The Optimization experiments showed COD is24mg/L, the extraction rate is99.96%.After that, the further oxidative degradation of the wastewater was treated by UV/fenton method, the initial concentration of wastewater is40mg/L, the examine factors include H2O2amount, ferrous sulfate addition amount, pH value, the oxidized time, reaction temperature. The single factor and optimization experiment indicated that the optimum degradation conditions were as follows:H2O2amount is0.3L/L, ferrous sulfate amount is50g/L, pH value is5, reaction time is45min, and temperature is25℃. Under the optimization condition, the degradation wastewater concentration is0.4mg/L, the removal rate is99%. Finally, treat the original simulated wastewater by the extraction first and the oxidation degradation followed, the COD of the degradation wastewater is8mg/L, removal efficiency is99%.This article provides new degradation process technology for the degradation of plasticizer wastewater, complete the degradation technology of wastewater. Responding to the theme of environmental protect, reduced the pollution levels to the minimum limit.
