The continuous casting roller is one of the most important parts of the continuous casting machine,the quality and longevity of the continuous casting roller is very important for the continuous casting production.It has a direct impact on the cost of product,the quality of slab and the operating rate of continuous casting machine.The destruction of the surfacing layer is the main reason for damage to the continuous casting roller,proper thickness of surfacing layer and its material properties are very important to improve the life of the casting roller,a research on the regularity between the surfacing layer and the mechanical behavior of continuous casting roller is very necessary.This article has a research on the regularity between the surfacing layer and the mechanical behavior of continuous casting roller, having a finite element simulation for the continuous casting roller, comparatively analysising the regularity between thickness of surfacing layer and temperature and stress fields, between its material properties and temperature and temperature and stress fields. By constructing mathematical model estimating the fatigue life of continuous casting roller, analysising the regularity between thickness of surfacing layer and the fatigue life of continuous casting roller, between its material properties and temperature and the fatigue life of continuous casting roller,optimizing the fatigue life of continuous casting roller.Studies have shown that when the thickness of surfacing layer is4mm, the temperature gradient and stress of field continuous casting roller is relatively small, and its properties of resisting thermal fatigue is better;thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity of continuous casting roller should have a larger value,when the value of elastic modulus is2.1×105MPa,the fatigue life of continuous casting roller...
