Heavy metals and organic pollution are important and worldwide concern environmentalissues. It has become difficult and important in this area. In this subject, copper nitrate and indolewere selected as heavy metals and organic matter pollutants in kaolin simulating natural soil. The pollutants in the soil were repaired by electro kinetic methods. The results of the experiment show that:(1) When adding acetic as buffer solution, thehighest ratio of concentration of Cu2+(using C to represent) and the concentration of Cu2+(usingC0to present) before being treated was1.596. Without controlling pH, the highest C/C0was1.216. So by adding the buffer at the cathode can effectively improve the migration effect ofCu2+. By adding electrolyte solution in the anode can increase the current and enhance themigration of Cu2+.(2) When the voltage intensity of the system was0.5V/cm, the highest C/C0was1.596. When the voltage intensity was1V/cm, the highest C/C0was2.245. It can be seenthat increasing the voltage intensity can improve the migration effect of the Cu2+. When addingcompexing agent into the soil, the highest C/C0of Cu2+was1.716, while it was1.202withoutadding. So by adding a certain concentration of the complexing agent into the soil can combinewith Cu2+as chelator, so as to improve the migration effect of the Cu2+.(3) Indole can migrate inboth acidic and alkaline conditions. The migration effect of indole was better under the alkalinecondition.(4) Using the method of interval power and the method of voltage increment to dealwith the mixture of copper nitrate and indole can effectively increase the migration of Cu2+andindole.This research uses the method of Electro kinetics to migrate the pollutant of heavy metalsand organic in the soil. This method has the following superiority: less artificial spending, lessexpose to harmful substances and high economic benefits. So this method has great prospect inapplication. This method provides an idea of dealing with similar pollutant of heavy metals andorganic in the soil.
