| Near infrared spectroscopy (NIR) analysis technology has been widelyused in agricultural product quality test with its rapid, simple and accuratenondestructive advantages, but still less used in egg quality testing. Near infraredtransmission spectroscopy combined with chemometrics methods were attempted totest the quality of eggs. The main research and achievements of this paper as follows:(1) From the structure of the eggs and chemical composition such as protein, fat,water as the starting point, this paper discusses the feasibility of using near infraredtransmission spectroscopy technology to test the egg quality. Select the mostsensitive area of spectrum for modeling by the analysis of egg near infraredtransmission spectroscopy. The results shows that the range in500-900nm ofspectrum has the most information.(2) The content gradient method was used to determine the calibration sets andvalidation sets of haugh unit and protein PH model respectively.(3) The optimal preprocess methods were selected by comparing the influenceto the model with the preprocessing methods of the S-G convolution smoothã€first-derivative, second-derivative, multiple scattering correction(MSC) and standardnormal variable transformation(SNV), then two PLS models were built. The resultsshows the combination of the S-G convolution with5points smooth and MSCperform the best on preprocessing the spectrum for haugh unit model,and thecombination of the S-G convolution with7points smooth, first-derivative and MSCperform the best on preprocessing the spectrum for PH model. The correlationcoefficient R of haugh unit and protein PH model in calibration model and validationmodel was:0.8453,0.7836and0.8874,0.8467, respectively.(4) A support vector machine (SVM) model and a linear discriminate analysis(LDA) model were built to discriminate the storage days of eggs. The results showsthe SVM model is better with the correct recognition rate in prediction sets of97.96%.(5) A small spectrum acquisition device was built with the core of miniature grating type spectrometer. And the software to test egg quality was also developed. |
