Ecological water requirement of river is the support and protection of river ecosystem structure and function as an essential factor. It has an important role in the river ecosystem health and development.development human beings has the lack of awareness of the importance of stability from water resources, only knows the blind exploitation, has caused serious damage on river ecological environment.Ecological water requirement is put forward in this caseThis paper on the ecological water demand of river set scale for the river of minimum flow. It improves the citizens’consciousness of saving water, and provide the basic data for the water administrative departments of water policyEcological water demand can optimize the allocation of water resources for the construction of ecological environment promote the benign circulation of regional water resources;determine the best rational ecological water demand, coordinate production, living and ecological water use, promote population, resource, environment, economy, society to coordinate development.This article discusses the river ecological water demand theory and calculation model from the perspective of ecological protection, and calculate the Taiyuan section of Fen river ecological water demand, for the restoration of impaired Fenhe River system, water resources management departments to provide basic data.The main findings are:(1) It summarizes ecological water demand of River concept, characteristics and model construction and defines the the concept of ecological water demand of river, which is the Total amount of water demand that meets the basic function of river and ecotone water including river water surface evaporation, the optimal flow river, ecotone vegetation evapotranspiration.(2) According to the characteristics, it establishes the computation model.It thinks that river ecological water demand includes ecological consumption needs water and ecological water demand of consumption. The consumption of water is the main part of ecological water demand, but not the consumption of water can not be ignored.(3) on the basis of the analysis of the Fen River in Taiyuan Duan Ziran and the environment, it calculat ecological water demand in Taiyuan urban section:the biggest ecological water demand from4to10was5.7618billion m3, optimal ecological water requirement is1.7286—2.8809billion m3, the minimum ecological water requirement is0.2881billion m3; The total of watershed water surface evaporation loss is4.77x107billion m3. Trees and shrubs of ecological water requirement is2.65×105m3—5.30105billion m3and2.20x105m3—4.04×105billion m3; grassland ecological water requirement is4.79x104m3—9.89×104billion m3(4) This paper discusses the research of regional ecological water allocation, based on sufficient analysis of natural environment, economic environment In Taiyuan City. It thinks that we should use the water cost minimization, the maximum of river wetland water environment capacity and the minimum water as the river wetland ecological water allocation target.
