Biohydrogen production with40years dated from the1970s,which was riched in many theories. It has producted many biohydrogen production using municipal wastewater, sugar refinery wastewater etc prepare hydrogen reactor with the efforts of contain carbohydrates higher material scholars. But it is rarely in using mixed substrate to hydrogen research. This article is based on the CSTR reactor and UASB reactor, with brown sugar as biological wastewater hydrogen substrates, and studying the start-up process of some of the parameters adjustment measures, analyzing and comparing the two reactor after processing brown sugar and soybean protein wastewater treatment effect of mixed substrate by the stable situation, in order to find the more suitable reactor for the mixture of substrate.CSTR reactor started with a low concentration of inoculation,with brown sugar wastewater as the substrate, HRT for6h, COD stages into the water improved concentration of4000mg/L to start-up success, stable operation into the water after the concentration of COD5400mg/L, the biggest gas production of18.29L/d, hydrogen content of50.87%.UASB reactor also with brown sugar as the substrate, HRT for8h, and study the hydrogen effect when the water below4.0pH.The results show that the conditions set four pH3.80,3.85,3.94,3.98, in the comparison of gas production, the largest gas production in pH3.94, and break the pH4.0for biological hydrogen production of the lower limit, can reduce bio-hydrogen engineering of the cost dosing.Two reactor on the brown sugar and soybean protein mixed substrate treatment effect, in roughly the same gas production conditions, due to their own UASB which can handle the characteristics of high concentration organic wastewater, the processing mixed substrate removal rate after higher COD; however the stability of the system of ethanol fermentation situation, CSTR reactor on the processing of mixed substrate is better than the UASB reactor. This research from different engineering of the control parameters under control and two reactors CSTR discusses UASB biological hydrogen effect analysis, and deal with the brown sugar and soybean protein mixed the substrate. But it has great distance to industrialized mass production, and analyzed the stability in the further study.
