With the rapid development of China’s economy, land destruction in area of mining andeco-environment problems have got great attention from the government. And the governmenthas included them in the key special plan of ecological construction and environmentalprotection for economic and social development. Future energy development and coal miningsubsidence land remediation regardless of the whole country or the region are of greatimportance to the sustainable development of regional economic and the survival of futuregenerations.In this paper, we take the mining subsidence land in the old site of Yangjiatao village(Guye District, Tangshan) as an example to analyze the actuality of reclaiming, researchprogress and existing problems. Based on these work, we propose the Researchideas, research methods and reclamation program for the project of the mining subsidenceland in the old site of Yangjiatao village. The feasibility and rationality are verified byanglicizing the social, economic and ecological benefits of the project area.The research results of this paper are as follows:(1) Based on the analysis of the actuality of the mining subsidence land andits reclamation in China, we put forward the problems existing during the reclamation of themining subsidence land in Tanshan, analyze the Mechanism and principles of reclamation,and then propose the target system of the mining subsidence land based on sustainabledevelopment theory and the reclamation mode of mining subsidence land.(2) By taking the old site of Yangjiatao village caused by the mining subsidence asexample and researching the actuality of the mining subsidence land, a detailed designprogram that adopts integrated engineering measures and bio-technical measures is developed.This program includes144,100m3land formation work,15.8299hectares land tillage, awater conservancy pumping station,0.133km low-voltage line and947m road of the field.(3) By anglicizing the social, economic and ecological benefits of the project area, the feasibility and rationality of the reclamation program are verified. After the implementation ofthe project, the net income is259,100yuan; new output value/total investment is0.11;Investment rate of return is7.40%; payback period is abaut14years. The per capita incomeincreases212yuan, and the farmland of farmer average per capita increases0.19mus.Through the research of this case, a reclamation scheme of the mining subsidence land intypical plain area is proposed. This reclamation scheme provides a scientificbasis for the rational development and utilization of land to keep the farmland dynamicequilibrium.
