| Linen fiber is more and more attended by people because of its own moisture absorption,resist radiation, air permeability advantage, but the stiffness of Linen fiber is strong and thefeel is rough, so in order to increase the performance of linen fiber, soft finishing of linenfabric is needed. Amino silicone oil is widely used in textile industry because of its well soft,hydrophobic, lubrication performance. In this paper, synthesis, emulsification and applicationperformance of amino silicone oil has been studied.In this paper, amino modified silicone oil is synthesized using3-Acrylamido-N,N-dimethypropylamine （DMAPAA） and Polymethylhydrosiloxane （PHMS） as the main rawmaterial, the best reaction condition of synthesis of amino silicone oil is obtained byorthogonal test and single factor experiments, the best reaction condition is: reaction time is10h, the amount of catalyst is50×10-6 for the reactant quality, reaction temperature is110℃,and material ratio is1.1.Amino-modified silicone oil is not soluble in water, so it can not be directly used forlinen fabric softening, it must be emulsified. Two nonionic surfactants, Tween-80andSpan-80, had been used in our experiments as emulsifier to prepare amino-silicone oilemulsion. The suitable HLB value of the compound emulsifier for the amino-silicone oil is10.5under experiment conditions. When stirring time is90minutes and emulsifyingtemperature is40℃, by adding5%of emulsifier and3.04%amino-silicone oil into the system,we can obtain the best emulsifying condition.Applications on linen fabric with amino-silicone oil are studied. The results show that,the white degree, breaking strength, elastic recovery angle and water absorbent of linen fabricare related with ammonia value, molecular weight, amino silicone oil concentration,compound emulsifier HLB value of the amino silicone oil and fabric processing time of theflax fabric. Linen fabrics are characterized by scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and X-raydiffraction （XRD）, the results show that the linen fabric with amino silicone finishing has asoft performance. |
