With the expansion of oil and gas development on the sea, scale of oiltransportation has been increasing year by year, oil spills accidents frequently happen,these accidents cause extremely serious pollution to the environment sea. Most oilspills accidents can’t get timely treatment, until oil spill has been weathered for a longtimeor has been treated with oil dispersants. All of these make a lot of difficulties tothe treatment of oil spill accidents. In order to give government departmentsassistance in tracking down oil spill source analysis and technical support, it is verynecessary doing research on influence of serious-weathering and dispersants to the oilfingerprint character of typical oils.This paper uses the GC/MS analysis method, combining retention time andcharacteristic ions to analyse the oil fingerprint of typical oil and weathering oil.Thispaper main includes fingerprints of different oil in different weathering time, at thesame time, the author have a practical application analysis in the oil spill. The mainresults of this paper are as follows:1. Have a qualitative analysis of n-alkane (including phytane and pristine) andbiomarker of steroid andterpene, at the same time, using the internal standard methodin quantitative analysis of some components to get information of oil fingerprint aboutthe weathering time of oils in the research.2. Doing research on fingerprints including: the comparison of n-alkane(including phytane and pristine) original peaks, the comparison of concentration ofthe all components, the comparison of expense of the oils, the comparison of thediagnostic ratios.3. Found that the influence of light composition of n-alkane is more obvious afterweathering and joining dispersants to oils. Because the biomarker of steroid andterpene behave small changing, they can be used as referent in the dispose of oil spills accidents. Also found that the influence of biomarker of steroid and terpene behavelarge changing, so this factors most be considered when using in oil spills accidents.4. Found that the weathering、dispersants and inherence characters of oils all caninfluent the diagnostic ratios. Several complications must be considered during thedispose of the oil spills accidents.5. The result of this paper studies can be applied in one oil spills accident innanhai sea area. By analyzing the conclusion that real sea accident of the overflow ofoil analysis, the relevant law enforcement departments to trace the source of oil andoil for the accident, provided the foundation and technical support.In short, this paper studies can afford theory and technical support to the identifyof oil fingerprint in oil spills accident. Also can provide supporting data andinformation to the establishment and updating of oil fingerprint storeroom. Andsupply strong practical value for the digital oil spills identification system of China.
