| With the development of science and technology, as well as the process of economicglobalization process, the enterprises is facing enormous challenges in market competition,shortening product life cycle to become the necessary condition for enterprise to survive.Andassembly as an important link in the product life cycle, the development and application of theassembly CAPP will have a great driving effect in modern manufacturing industry.Compared with the traditional assembly process design, the research of assembly CAPPsystems have made great progress at present. The problems of traditional assembly processdesign are that: the design cycle is too long, the strong dependence on technology personnel,and not conducive to the integration of information and the enterprise’s information.Thispaper puts forward to solidworks as system development and application platform, to designthe assembly process of enveloping worm CNC grinder grinding head spindle box.Conversion the product design BOM, to assembly BOM, with assembly BOM as thefoundation planning the assembly sequence and assembly path of the spindle box, and finallyget the interference detection of the product assembly process, output the process documentsand then complete the assembly process design of the product.This paper mainly discusses the following studies:1. Get feature modeling of the parts of the planar quadratic envelope of worm CNCgrinder grinding head spindle box in the three-dimensional CAD software solidworks, andestablish the assembly model. Use the hierarchical model to establish the assemblyinformation model, complete the integration of three-dimensional assembly model featuresgeometric information and constraints information, achieve the conversion of designinformation to assembly information to provide the source of information for the order ofassembly process planning and path planning.2. Study the frame structures of the assembly CAPP system, mainly divide theassemble CAPP system into four layers structure as user interface layer, system function layer,object layer and system support tools layer. The main functional modules of the systeminclude the assembly process design of the product, assembly process simulation, themanagement of the process resources and process files.3. Solidworks as a platform, analyze and study the key technology of the assemblyprocess design system, which are that the assembly information extraction, assemblysequence planning, assembly path planning, the assembly simulation, technology resourcesand process documents management. Finally get the assembly process simulation and outputthe assembly process documents.Through the level division and remove principle of the parts to determine the product assembly sequence; Use matrix transformation of parts node positionto get the path planning; Test the interference of the parts nodes in the process of assemblingand produce assembly process documents to guide field assembly.Through the second development of solidworks design tools solidworks API, develop aassembly process design system. Planar quadratic envelope of worm CNC grinder grindinghead spindle box as the example, demonstrate the feasibility of the assembly process designsystem, improve the efficiency of the assembly process. |
